Had a visit a long time ago. The only surprise was the starter with the lamb and alongside with the quality olive oil are the only reasons that I am giving a 2, not a 1. The main was ox tongue where it was a huge disappointment as it tastes like my school meal. Just the tongue is tender. The dessert is also extremely average where it is like an M&S food. The chocolate one is reasonable. But no surprise at all. Bread on the other hand is very very good. But when I didn’t even finish, the staff took it away. Service was limited. Quality of food is rather concerning. Definitely not worth a Michelin star. Overall: Quality of food: 4/10 Surprise factor: 0.5/10 Value of money: 2/10 Service: 4/10 Location: 8/10 Possibility of return: Will not go back

Our Review of Murano (October 2017)

Situated in affluent Mayfair (one of the posher ends of London), Murano is a well established restaurant with a rock solid reputation, owned and run by celebrity chef and former Gordon Ramsay protege, Angela Hartnett. I stopped in for what I hoped would be an enjoyable lunch whilst on a day trip to London with my young daughter on a sunny Saturday afternoon....
