Hands down... THE most dog friendly hotel we have ever visited! Our little furry family weren't just "accepted" here, they were welcomed and cherished as part of the family. What a beautiful experience we had staying - the staff are wonderfully friendly, the food and drinks are fantastic and the rooms very spacious and comfortable (and no, they don't smell like dog - they are exceptionally clean, more so than the average hotel!). We felt right at home instantly and loved the little welcome pack for the dogs on our arrival. Whether you're visiting with a dog or not, this is an absolute must location if you're around the area - we will be coming back!

Our review of The Bear's Paw (April 2016)

Sitting happily in the village of Warmingham in the Cheshire countryside, The Bear's Paw is a rather impressive nineteenth century building with a substantial seventeen bedrooms and a sizable bar and restaurant. The food here is reportedly of some repute (with the usual website promise of fresh, seasonal and locally sourced) so I duly booked and arrived with my wife and young daughter for Saturday lunch....
