Tamarind Kitchen restaurant reviews

Average rating: 4.1
I recently visited Tamarind Kitchen in Soho, expecting a refined dining experience. One of the dishes was enjoyable, but the chicken dish (I can’t recall the exact name) was served undercooked, which was extremely off-putting and completely unacceptable for any restaurant, let alone one of this supposed quality.
I immediately showed it to the waiter, who did apologise and replaced the dish, but their initial reaction lacked any real urgency or seriousness. Even more disappointing was that I was still charged the full bill, with no gesture offered for the mistake.
Frankly, this was an unhealthy situation and one I didn’t expect from a restaurant that presents itself as fine dining. This experience fell short on both fronts. I won’t be coming back, and I wouldn’t recommend it to others either. I hope the management takes this feedback seriously to prevent future occurrences.
