To start on a positive note, the food was genuinely good. Each dish was thoughtfully prepared, well-balanced and clearly made with quality ingredients. The kitchen clearly knows what it's doing. Flavors were refined without being overcomplicated and presentation was polished. From a purely culinary standpoint, it was an enjoyable meal. The biggest issue was the service. As it was Valentine's night, we expected a certain level of attentiveness and care. Instead, the experience felt chaotic. Who appeared to be the head staff member was moving around the restaurant in a visibly flustered manner, stomping loudly across the floor, which disrupted the mood of what was supposed to be a romantic evening. Plates were cleared without even asking if we had finished our food, making us feel rushed and overlooked rather than valued as guests. Given this experience, I genuinely don't understand how this restaurant earned a star with this level of service. While the food shows real promise, the disorganized and inattentive front-of-house experience made it difficult to fully enjoy what should have been a special night.
