Looked like a nice location so we stopped for a drink and to have a look at the menu to plan a date night. We ended up having a meal while we were there. Unfortunately, my burger was extremely salty. It tasted as though it had been double salted. I ended up leaving about three quarters of it and had to have a pint of water and coke to wash what I did eat down. Informed the member of staff who came to clear the table. She went to the kitchen then came back with a “sorry about that” from the chef and “would you like anything else or the dessert menu”.. we just paid the bill in full as no other option was offered. They might have just been having a bad minute but safe to say that date night will be elsewhere. Bit disappointed as it’s advertised as Michelin star.
