The George and Dragon

From the moment we arrived, we relaxed. The atmosphere was relaxed and friendly, and the welcome warm. We ate outside in the courtyard garden, surrounded by flowers. Nothing was too much trouble - staff were happy to move umbrellas so we were in the shade. The fixed price menu was fabulous value - £28.50 for two courses or £31.50 for three courses. We found the portions plentiful and delicious. My husband said it was the best roast he'd ever had. Everything was a notch above what you'd expect, but no surprise given the AA Rosette award. Big thanks to the lovely waitress with the blonde hair- she was so kind to our children and made them happy. Thank you for a truly relaxing and enjoyable lunch.
