The Chubby Castor

This was my second visit to The Chubby Castor and I went for the à la carte instead of the tasting menu this time. I much preferred it, as the portion sizes are more generous and you can choose exactly what you like. The scallops to start were excellent and the beef main was cooked to perfection. Every dish was beautifully presented and full of flavour. Service was attentive and professional without being over the top, and the thatched building makes for a lovely setting. It is on the pricier side, but the quality of the food and overall experience make it well worth it. Easily one of the best dining spots around Peterborough and somewhere I’ll keep coming back to.
