We arrived for my partners birthday breakfast. The man who greeted us (seemed to be manager or owner) was very friendly a made a great first impression. Due to the current situation we were given hand sanitiser and a quick temperature check ensuring we felt safe going in. The rappor from the man taking us to our seats was great, talking about our local area and even having knowledge of our local pubs. We got to our seats with a smile on our face. Shortly after sitting down, and realising it was my partners birthday, he came back out with a lovely birthday card and a Porthminster Beach Cafe cook book! Very thoughtful and my partner was beaming. We ordered a Bellini each, and we ate Eggs Benedict and Eggs Royale. The food was absolutely perfect. The location on the beach is absolutely perfect. I would recommend booking in advance to ensure you get a slot, it's definitely worth it. When we return to St Ives we will 100% be returning here!
