We stayed in the little cottage in the grounds, so not directly in the hotel. Totally self catering was the plan other than days out. The grounds and beach are amazing. The staff we've dealt with have been gracious and accommodating. The cottage would benefit most definitely from a sprinkle of money spent on it to update the decor (as it's a bit of a 70s time capsule), a deep clean, the drains to be cleared and cistern to fill in more than 25minutes (if you have a family really important) but it was tidy and of course private, just what we need to get away during this bizarre CV19 year. Needing the little bits of attention has prevented a 5 star, but, overall a good place...would recommend for those that need a relax away from the 4 walls of home in a lovely surrounding.
