Opso restaurant reviews

Average rating: 4.3
This used to be one of my go-to spots in Marylebone, but the changes to the menu have taken a serious turn for the worse — and I don’t say that lightly.
The prices are completely unjustifiable. £27 for baked cauliflower? And it’s not even good. The curry emulsion felt like an attempt at being inventive gone horribly wrong.
The moussaka was average at best and not something I’d return for. But the real jaw-dropper? A £95 sea bass. For a 1kg fish farmed in Greek sea, you're mainly paying for the origin, not quality or flavour complexity. Tasty, but overpriced.
OPSO used to strike a great balance between modern creativity and authentic flavours. Now it feels like they’re chasing gimmicks and prestige pricing without delivering the quality or experience to back it up.
