Mareida restaurant reviews

Average rating: 4.7
Came here on a Saturday night, and frankly the whole experience left alot to be desired. While nothing was particularly bad (except the slow kitchen time), the food was disappointing and of very little value for money.
Starting with the food itself, the flavours were okay. Nothing that particularly stood out in terms of spices or flavours- the mains were neither here or there. Our chicken was not the best cooked, yet the trout was nice! The starters were flavourful but the portions were extremely tiny. While delicious, there is no way you can justify £9 for a SINGLE tiny empanada… My advice to management would be to dramatically reconsider their price points on everything.
The other hitch was that the kitchen was extremely slow. Our starters came out in quick succession but there was about 45 minutes wait between that and our mains coming out. Also sadly when they arrived they were not particularly worth the wait.
Overall- would not recommend.
