An unforgettable evening celebrating our third wedding anniversary. The moment we sat down, you could feel the difference — generous spacing, no sense of being crammed in, and chairs that were almost sofa-like: wide, plush, yet perfectly supportive. It set the tone for a relaxed, indulgent night. We went all in on the menu — wagyu black garlic gyoza, a beautiful selection of sashimi, three different maki rolls, several robata dishes, and a large sharing plate. But the standout, without question, was the boneless wings stuffed with prawns and herbs — deeply savoury, juicy, and dangerously moreish. We ordered a second round without hesitation. The seared salmon maki roll was another highlight, showcasing real craftsmanship. Every detail was considered — even a delicate, crispy shell to hold the ikura before topping the roll. That level of care carried through the rest of the meal: rich pork yakiniku, fragrant truffle grilled chicken, perfectly cooked lamb cutlets, and buttery black cod — each dish executed with precision and confidence. We finished on a high with the milk chocolate namelaka, paired with dry apple crisp, fresh apple, and a bright sudachi sorbet. It was balanced, elegant, and absolutely worth every calorie.
