The Potting Shed at Dorset Square Hotel

This place is a complete gem of a restaurant. We were staying at the Hotel (Dorset Square Hotel) as we were getting married at the very near Old Marylebone Town Hall and had booked into The Potting Shed (which is in the basement of the hotel) for our romantic meal post the wedding. It was just for the two of us and honestly, it could not have been any more romantic. The beauty of this restaurant (and the hotel) is the friendliness and professionalism of the Staff. They are so welcoming and when we arrived, after a very exhausting (but fun) wedding day, our Server met us with "now here's our special couple". How wonderful! Our reserved booth was lit with mood lighting and candles. We received a complimentary glass of bubbles to celebrate the event (along with a complimentary chocolate desert) and our 3 course meal was delicious! My Husband had the steak (which was fabulous) and I had the roast chicken (very good). We selected a nice bottle of champagne to drink with our meal and it was of course presented beautifully. We were made to feel like Royalty. It really was the icing and cherry on the cake of our special day. We can highly recommend anyone visiting this restaurant, either for a special occasion, a cosy meal after work or their amazing looking Afternoon Teas. Not dog friendly, which is completely understandable. No parking area but public car park 2 mins walk away.
