Lytham House

We came just before 5 and were advised to wait at the bar untill kitchen is open so we could get to restaurant. The service on the bar was spottles and very inviting. The bar and restaurant are beautifuly designed with attention to detail creating a warm and inviting spaces. The food arrived as ordered we didnt wait long, I got tomato and peper soup, thick, hot and tasty, my husband had oysters for starter. For main I got a seabass and my husband got a cod. The food was delicious, full of taste, well spiced and fish was very tender. The weekest point of the evening was a dessert. We order it together with 2 double esspresos asking to be served together, despite that we receive single ones first, so we asked for a change. The dessert arrived and the coffee was still waited for, eventually arrived as well. The service started perfectly the waitress was polite and caring. It slightly change when got a bit bussier and she didnt make sure our request was met. But we can tell the staff is young, with good training there is a bit of experience needed to make it perfect so we leve a room for it hoping next time we visit we will be able to award them 5 star.
