The food was very, very good. We really enjoyed it. The service was perfect for us - attentive but not "hovering". The atmosphere is laid back and cosy. The food is really tasty - I had the feather blade of beef. It was so soft and all the other elements were complimentary, well cooked and delicious. I'd recommend the creamed spinach with pancetta (separately ordered side, not always available), the feather blade of beef and the black pudding starter. The seafood thermidor starter is very good too. My partner had the duck and loved it so much he ordered it on our next visit. Will be going back.
