NORD

I went with a group of work colleagues for a celebratory evening meal and we were blown away by the incredible food and the most attentive service by the NORD staff. I personally savoured every mouthful. The ingredients were so fresh and the flavours of each dish were incredible. We had 6 courses selected by the chef, Daniel Heffy (who was great on The Great British Menu!) and we weren't disappointed by anything. My vegan colleagues enjoyed their food just as much as us meat-eaters! My favourite dish was the Scallop, pork cheek, poached pear & lemon thyme, but the lamb cutlet was a close second. Desserts of Rhubarb, apple & woodruff cream and chocolate textures finished off our meal wonderfully. Our servers Dan, Abby and a French guy who's name I can't recall were so attentive all through our meal, topping up our water, checking in for drinks regularly, and asking us when we were ready for the next course. Daniel himself served some of the food, including the mains, and took the time to have a chat with our group at the end. It was our first time eating at NORD, but we all said we will be returning, including our vegan team mates, who were really impressed with the vegan menu.
