Extremely disappointing. We had travelled from Lancashire for a birthday treat expecting a lovely relaxed evening meal in a quaint country pub followed by a few drinks afterwards at the bar. After our meal we ended up in our room as the bar and lounge area were closed and in darkness. Who shuts a pub at 7.00 pm on Easter Sunday especially when the accommodation was full. We had a similar issue the night after, Easter Monday, as the bar was in complete darkness yet again by 8.00 pm. We had booked into this accommodation for three nights but after two nights decided to leave and would NOT recommend this place at all.
