Akoko restaurant reviews

Average rating: 4.8
Overall great first experience trying African cuisine. Very bold flavours lots of spice. They had a handwashing ceremony in the beginning, really immersing you in the culture. Opening bite was nice texture wise and combined beef with plantain, very unique. Especially loved the caviar with goat cashew paste and beef tongue. Only complaint is that it took a really long time 20 minutes maybe? For the main to come out…
