We've just come back from a week at Tigh an Truish, what an absolutely wonderful place to stay. The people that run the pub are fabulous, so friendly and approachable, nothing is too much trouble. The food is out of this world, I absolutely love their poached eggs on toast. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The little extras like extra towels and bottles of water make you feel really welcome. This place is ideal for anyone wanting to get away from it all. There's no phone signal, no radio reception but the Tigh an Truish has a brilliant WiFi. The scenery and wildlife are incredible, everything from sea eagles, to seals to dear. Perfect for walkers, cyclists, photographers etc. There's no traffic noise, no people noise and no hustle and bustle of the rat race. Just quiet, calm and tranquil peace. It's absolutely heaven
