The Colintraive

The Colintraive restaurant reviews

Average rating: 4.7
It’s always a treat to visit the Colintraive when back in Scotland and our most recent visit did not disappoint. Glorious weather and a stunning view set the tone for our lunch.
The biggest challenge was deciding what to have…. Crispy olives and haggis bon bons to share, incredible local oysters and seasonal asparagus hit the spot.
Now for the main event…. It’s a bit of a joke I always have the langoustines… on this visit they were huge! So sweet, quite honestly the best in Scotland. The rest of the party had local lamb and even met the farmer and butcher afterwards in the bar.
We somehow managed to find room for deserts and finished our meal with excellent Argyll roasters coffee.
As for the team at the Colintraive, their hospitality is superb.
Now to find another time to go back and this time stay over….
