Piersland House

I had a one night stay here following a wedding at the same venue. I could not fault the staff or the venue, from start to finish. Staff were polite, friendly and super-helpful, there were plenty of staff around and each one treated you like your request was of utmost importance to them. Complementary umbrellas were available everywhere for you to use. My room was a Mews room and it was stunning, even had my own sitting room, with a sofa big enough to sleep on and a TV in each room. The super-king bed (two singles zipped together) was wonderfully luxurious and oh my goodness, it was SO DARK at night, they seemed to be able to eliminate every speck of light for a great night's sleep. My only gripe, if you can really call it one, is that there were no plugs anywhere near my bed for my phone to charge overnight and also be my light if I needed the loo in the night, so a lot of stumbling happened in the early hours of the morning! The wedding food was fabulous, and the hotel breakfast the next morning was superb, with hot food made to order. Would DEFINITELY return here. Thank you, Piersland House Hotel.
