The Nags Head restaurant reviews

Average rating: 4.6
We booked in for Sunday lunch just before Xmas and wasn't disappointed. We had turkey dinners, a mixed meat platter, a small platter, fish and chips and a veggie option. The meat was plentiful and DIVINE! The gravy is simply the best I've ever tasted too. The fish and chips was the size of a small child as well! We also sampled some desserts, with the stand out being the lemon and lime cheesecake. Overall, the portions were pretty big, so yes it's a little expensive (19.95 for the lunch, £24.95 for the platter) but you do get a lot. The £3.95 for the cauliflower cheese is worth it. Rich, strong cheese taste and there's enough for 4, or two big eaters!
