The Firecat at Camlan Uchaf

Amazing! Firstly, Robin and Jane are absolutely amazing souls. They communicate very well and can’t do enough to accommodate and make you feel comfortable and at home- thanks guys. The location is stunning, a beautiful garden with seating and space to walk, stretch relax and enjoy the sun both morning and night. The mountains and hills about the space are visible from the garden and rooms. Barmouth only 30 mins away and Dolgellau even closer. Caer idris (the main purpose of our visit) only 20 mins. Breakfast was an absolute delight. One of the best breakfasts I’ve ever had. As a vegetarian not always great variety, however, without asking for anything different and special Robin and Jane went out their way to put a custom breakfast together. Nothing was too much trouble. We had to leave before breakfast on day 2 and they offered to put together a packed breakfast… once again, we didn’t ask- they offered. Amazing hosts, amazing people. The room was more beautiful than the pictures. Linen was fresh and smelt beautiful. Room immaculate! Bathroom was clean, shower amazing.. beautiful fresh Welsh mineral water. Plenary of towels and gowns plus slippers were a great touch. Down to the details of a beautiful high level vintage cistern.
