The Loch and The Tyne

The Loch and The Tyne restaurant reviews

Average rating: 4.7
This was our last stop on our two week Estrella Damm top gastropub trip.
We have now done #1, 2 & 3 on the 2023 list and although The Loch and the Tyne is ranked in the low 20’s on the list, it is every bit as good as the top three.
The service was immaculate - our servers were extremely friendly and service was perfectly paced.
The food was, as expected, top notch. I particularly loved the Haggis Scotch Egg and my wife was impressed with the ‘mother’. We both had the lamb dish which was beautifully cooked and followed it with two wonderful desserts.
It was an expensive evening, however on balance it was worth it.
