Roux at Skindles

I ate here for a birthday celebration and although the service was very friendly and attentive, the food really wasn't worth the prices. Nothing about it blew me away, but the prices really meant it should've done. This was the same with the wine, which I tried two of their red wines by the glass but neither were impressive. For £12/glass I would expect to enjoy it much more. The veggie burger was over £25 but again, no strong flavours to impress, certainly not for that price. We ordered a salsify side, but only ate half of it because it just didn't interest/impress. I'm glad I've tried it, but won't bother again. Can get better food for much less money.
