The Half Moon restaurant reviews

Average rating: 4.5
We had a very good ‘Indian style ‘ meal at the Half Moon. Service was excellent but you cannot serve a meal of Belly Pork which was 100% fat. Not nice. The rest of the meal was a delight. The issue was resolved and we were offered a reduction via not paying the service charge. We declined it and paid the whole meal and service charge.
In my honest opinion my meal was superb and I throughly enjoyed it but I was not in a traditional pub but a restaurant and bar. Very nice but my visits will be few and far apart because it does not serve Ale. A pub that only serves larger is a bar and not what I am looking for but hopefully I will find one of their advertised evenings attractive and revisit for a meal and be the nominated non drinking driver.
Sorry to be candid but isn’t that the point of any review. If you serve Ale I will return.
