The Pig-in the South Downs

We had the most wonderful dinner at The Pig in Madehurst while celebrating our 40th birthdays, and it truly made the occasion feel special. From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere was warm and relaxed, and the food was absolutely fantastic—beautifully presented and full of flavour. What really made the evening stand out, though, was the exceptional service. Grace looked after us brilliantly throughout the meal—friendly, attentive, and genuinely enthusiastic, which made the whole experience even more enjoyable. Dan, the manager, also went out of his way to make sure our celebration felt memorable, which we really appreciated. It was the perfect place to celebrate such a milestone, and we left feeling thoroughly spoiled. Thank you to the whole team for a fantastic evening—we can’t wait to come back!
