The George at Burpham restaurant reviews

Average rating: 4.5
On recommendation by a friend of mine we brought our friends on Saturday, 17th of May. The menu was not the same as the one listed on the website so was very disappointing as there wasn’t much choice. Most importantly, my husband and I ordered the Cote de boeuf where we paid £90. I asked right at the beginning that I did not want any pink at all needs to be very well done I even asked them to butterfly it. I sent it back twice And still it was pink inside by then I was hungry. So just ate what was there apart from the gristle? No apology from the waitress. My neighbours had a fish dish which they said was the worst they’d ever had. So not a great experience for us
