The Baiting House

What a wonderful stay we had. The Baiting House was well signposted and easy to find. We received a warm and friendly welcome from Mark before settling into our accomodation. We stayed in Clun, a studio lodge, which has all of the amenities you need. It was clean and well presented. I informed them that we were celebrating our wedding anniversary and they put balloons and sign in our room which was a lovely touch. Our dinner was absolutely delicious! The cheddar soufflé was as fantastic as I'd hoped it would be - I could have eaten it 3 times over! The staff were all lovely and attentive, even when it was busy. Our hot tub was clean and very warm - perfect for a February evening. Towels and robes were available within our accommodation. (Bring slippers/flip flops - we didn't think of this!) Plastic flutes were available so we could enjoy a glass of champagne in the hot tub, which was great! The bed was comfortable, and the lodge was a nice temperature, even without the heating on. Breakfast was scrumptious: Table service with nice coffee and orange juice. We will definitely stay at The Baiting House again, and would highly recommend it to anyone. Highlights include: Sitting in the hot tub after dark, listening to the owls hooting. The delicious cheddar soufflé, and Pork Belly main. Mark's infectiously endearing personality which lit up the room.
