Pavyllon at the Four Seasons Hotel London

An absolute 10/10 birthday celebration! We booked lunch here for my wife's birthday along with our 6-year-old daughter. Fine dining can sometimes feel a bit stuffy, but Pavyllon was the complete opposite. They were incredibly welcoming to our daughter, and the staff even performed magic tricks to keep her entertained at the table, which was a massive highlight and kept her smiling the whole time. We went for the "Taste of Pavyllon" set lunch menu (£55 per person), which is an absolute steal for food of this calibre in Mayfair. The wine pairing was spot on too. Every single dish knocked it out of the park: Starters: The cod starter was wonderfully delicate, and my wife's soft egg with tuna tartare and smoked pike roe was a total standout. Mains: My roasted lamb chop was flawlessly cooked with an incredibly rich, glossy jus. My wife had the avocado plissé with curry oil and puffed rice, which was super clever, refreshing, and had the perfect crunch. Desserts: We finished on a massive high. The crisp meringue with praline ice cream and warm caramel was perfection, and the chocolate soufflé was light, airy, and delicious. The open-kitchen setup added a great sense of theatre to the afternoon, and the service was warm and seamless throughout. Thank you for making her birthday so memorable—we’ll definitely be back!
