Mount Street Restaurant is a solid choice, especially if you’re going for a traditional Sunday roast — the food is definitely good and well-executed. The cocktails are also a highlight, well-made and enjoyable. That said, it sits firmly in the higher price bracket — comparable to a five-star hotel restaurant in London — so expectations are naturally elevated. While the quality is there, the value feels a bit uneven. Portion sizes, particularly desserts, are on the smaller side (almost a mouthful), which doesn’t quite match the pricing. Service was a bit inconsistent. While some staff were perfectly fine, there were moments that stood out for the wrong reasons — one waiter shrugged when asked about the wine list and said they didn’t know, and the same person cleared away a half-finished cocktail without checking, which was disappointing. The space is also tightly arranged, with tables set quite close together, which slightly detracts from the overall dining experience at this price point. Having been a couple of times now, it’s fair to say it’s good, but with room for improvement — particularly in portion sizes, service attentiveness, and overall value. That said, Artfarm restaurants are known for their higher pricing. Would I return? Maybe — but at this price range, I’d likely explore other options first.
