We ate here as a treat on a big day for our family, having initially tried & failed to get a table at Montrose’s bigger & buzzier sister eaterie, Timberyard. So we arrived a bit disappointed. I’m so glad we ate here & not there. The couple of hours we spent in the soothing atmosphere of Montrose was perfect for us. The food was unforgettably delicious & the service impeccable. The Elderflower & Horseradish Oysters were a transformative culinary experience. What an extraordinarily delicious combination of flavours and textures. Chapeau to the chef. Montrose was a wonderful, unforgettable oasis of calm & deliciousness which set us up nicely for the rager that followed. Thank you to all concerned.
