We stopped here for a brief stay. On business. The hotel was principally clean and tidy and the staff were friendly and accommodating. Check in was fine, and we got our hot cookie. The room size was great (queen size) and the hotel had plenty of character. The fridge in the room was somewhat strange, just on the floor - I turned it off as it was making a racket. We are at the hotel and the food in the evening (bar area) was okay. The bed was comfy and I slept well - happy with that. The shower pressure was lacking. Breakfast was good with a decent selection. All in all a pleasant stay, but doesn't set the world on fire - in fairness, exactly what we needed. I would stay again.
