Bao + BBQ

Delicious meal 👌🏻 My wife and I had: - the arancini starter. This was tasty. - the brisket rice bowl. We agreed this was the star, the flavours were really outstanding. Every element was unbelievably good. - the kimchi, broccolini, cucumber salad sides. All of which were very flavourful too. We both had the molten matcha cake to finish up, which had a rich dark cacao taste which we love. However we were a bit disappointed with dessert compared to the rest of the meal in as much as we felt the more unique flavours didn’t seem to come through (these being the matcha, and the black sesame - particularly as the ice cream was just vanilla with few sesame seeds sprinkled on top rather than “black sesame seed ice cream”). Service was attentive and friendly. The restaurant is beautiful inside, and we enjoyed the open style kitchen - for the views and the smells! Overall we loved the meal, really tasty, and we’ll definitely return to sample some of the other wares! 😁🤤
