Hide and Fox

We were lucky enough to celebrate our engagement at Hide and Fox this weekend and it is without any doubt an experience for a lifetime. The 8 course taster menu is exquisite, beautifully curated and cooked to perfection. The also a catered to gluten free with minor tweaks, absolutely no fuss and no detriment to the experience whatsoever. The English wine pairing was beautiful, with lots of surprise entries throughout which worked so well, and not to mention the house cocktails are also gorgeous. The whole experience took about 4 hours, and it is that, an experience, not just dinner. You don’t feel rushed, you have time to savour each pairing. The atmosphere is lovely, relaxed, warm and cosy. Classy without being stuffy or intimidating. And finally, but absolutely not last, a shout out to the wonderful staff. The service is astonishingly good, attentive without being overbearing. friendly, warm and welcoming. It simply could not be better. And thank you again to the whole team for making our celebration feel so special. We hope to see you again one day soon!
