Better service at my local Chinese Restaurant.
We have never had any issue on previous visits but this time we did, although not at the bar which was great on service and courtesy.
Although the quality of food was excellent, one starter (squid) arrived after all the starters and main dishes had been served. We weren't charged for this dish, but despite our 3 reminders, no one explained the reason for it, either at the time of ordering it, nor when it finally arrived.
The waitress was not in the least empathetic and could have made our group of 6 guests feel better by way of an apology or acknowledgement at the end when we made payment. The background music could be a bit calmer.
