Cuubo

We had a very special meal here at Cuubo on Friday lunchtime. First and foremost, the 2 hosts that served us (the tasting menu we had chosen) were both amazing. Friendly, knowledgeable and entertaining, informing us about each dish in turn and engaging us along the menu journey. Every course was perfectly prepared and presented, with a couple standing out even further. The fish course was beautiful, skin crisp and the flesh delicate. The lamb was some of the best I've ever tasted, we happily told our hosts that it was better than my wife's mom's lamb, which made them laugh. The desserts, oh the desserts. Lemon pre-dessert with hints of olive oil was beautiful and was followed by one of the best tasting strawberry dishes I've ever had. The cost for the tasting menu was appropriate, but you can order a la cart, so a smaller selection. But with food this good I'd be gutted to have missed any of these dishes.
