Cleaver and Wake

I had the short rib ravioli to start and I was blown away from the first bite. Despite a small serving, it was packed with flavour and there was a surprisingly generous amount of meat stuffed into the pasta. It was the perfect start to my meal. My main course was the Haunch of Estate Venison, with a serving of the braised red cabbage on the side. It was all well-cooked but surprisingly paled in comparison to the ravioli. Nonetheless, I still enjoyed the meal, but for me, at these prices, I wouldn’t be rushing back. I was told the menu changes seasonally however, so I will be looking out for their upcoming offers to see if anything catches my eye. I do also want to note that the staff were extremely professional & friendly, so I felt very comfortable during my visit.
