I've eaten at a lot of places but few genuinely make me excited to do a review. I was a walk in and was quickly given a seat by the bar. The bar staff and incredible and made my impromptu solo dinner something special. They are some of the friendliest around and made me feel comfortable dining at the bar. If you've never been to Brasserie Zedel before, know it is set in a beautiful dining room but during December they make an extra effort for Christmas. The food is brilliant and brings you to the Brasseries of Paris. I'd definitely recommend the oysters and steak tartare but from those nearby I could see the steak hache is also popular. The staff made my dinner special by giving me a macaron and a dessert wine to finish which we're both fantastic. I can't recommend this place enough if you're looking for a meal near the West end. Will definitely say it's worth a visit
