Brasserie Max at the Covent Garden Hotel restaurant reviews

Average rating: 4.4
When we were looking for a place for an Afternoon Tea, three different sources said head to the Covent Garden Hotel and Brasserie Max.
If I could give six stars, the food, service, and atmosphere would each get them.
The Tea is held daily from 13:00 - 16:45. You can choose from nine different teas. We liked Tall Trees best. Accompanying the tea are warm scones with cream and jam. A layer of five finger sandwiches are arranged for each person. I liked the Cornination Chicken best. My wife sandwich liked the egg salad with watercress. No tea would be complete without sweet treats, and Max's pastry chef did not disappoint. Five choices, including my favorite, the pistachio and strawberry tart, should give you that sugar rush.
Our server gave us attention when we need it, but really let us enjoy the tea and each other. Very professional and friendly.
The hotel is gorgeous, Brasserie Max is beautiful and our table was perfect for a Royal Tea. Well done, everyone.
Highly recommend making reservations!!!
