15c AD at the Best Western Plus Swan Hotel

Lovely hotel in a great location. Well decorated and clean, spacious rooms and facilities. Staff were attentive on front reception and in the restaurant for breakfast. Breakfast is ordered from a menu unless you're happy to eat from the continental style buffet. You're right on the high street and within walking distance of the cathedral, bishops palace and local shops and restaurants. Made a comment about the city centre looking like the one in Hot Fuzz, we found out during our stay that Wells was in fact the filming location in the film - great bit of pop culture. Worth visiting the street market on a Saturday or Wednesday if you're staying during this period.
