The Stables at The Grove

Just finished dining at the stables with my husband and two children. Absolute wow. We've dined at The Glasshouse but really fancied a roast experience in their sister restaurant and this didn't disappoint. We came early so we could have a drink in the bar and had the first evening sitting at 5:30. Bar experience was great, we sat outside. When we attended for our booking they'd also placed us outside as the weather was so pleasant. We had the view of the golf course which was picturesque. I had the sirloin roast, my husband had a burger, the children penne and fish and chips. I can't recall the last time I ate a whole roast, absolutely demolished 😂 it and the veg was divine. The children enjoyed their meals and so did my husband. Deserts were lovely and we had baileys coffees. Wow. Big shoutout to Danielle who served us (don't lose her) and Lewis who looked after us very well. It's not a doorstep visit as we live in Essex but it's certainly worth the journey to visit The Grove and The Stables. Thank you so much, we'll be back. Absolute gratitude to all the staff. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
