The Rabbit Hotel

My partner and I stayed in the Rabbit Hotel last week and had booked a 'comfy room'. We had stayed in a 'comfy' room the previous year which was spacious, bright, and open. However, our recent 'comfy' room was separated from the rest of the hotel and located in a detached building. The room was incredibly small, dark, and not in keeping with the room advertised on the Rabbit's website. There was barely any room to move at either side of the bed and only one very small window that made for a very dark and claustrophobic room. I would imagine that this room would more accurately fit the description of a 'snug' or 'attic' room, however, it was a massive shortfall from the 'comfy' room in which we had stayed the previous year as well as the advertised room. Additionally, the room was situated within an armlength of the main road which meant that we were unable to escape the continuous noise of traffic. There was also an incredibly loud air vent in the bedroom which seemed to be on a 10 minute cycle. Therefore, between the consistent traffic and relentless noise of the air vent, it was impossible to get any degree of quality sleep. I would advise anyone to be wary of booking the Rabbit Hotel in the future as our recent drip was disappointing, incredibly underwhelming, and far from relaxing.
