The Mayfair Chippy Knightsbridge

★★★★★ A really enjoyable visit to The Mayfair Chippy in Knightsbridge. The restaurant has a warm, welcoming atmosphere with a relaxed yet stylish feel, and the location is excellent. The classic fish and chips were outstanding. The fish was fresh and beautifully cooked, with a light, crisp batter, while the chips were perfectly prepared and full of flavour. The portion was generous and very satisfying. The accompanying tartare sauce, mushy peas and curry sauce complemented the dish extremely well and gave a nice variety of flavours. Service was friendly, attentive and efficient throughout, making the whole experience even more pleasant. The restaurant itself is comfortable and inviting, and the street-facing seating is particularly nice for enjoying the surroundings and watching Knightsbridge go by. Overall, an excellent combination of quality food, generous portions, good service and a great location. A very enjoyable experience and certainly somewhere I would be happy to return to. Highly recommended.
