Nanyang Blossom

After boating in Hyde Park I just wanted to find somewhere nearby for dinner. I came across this restaurant by chance and only realised later that it was Michelin-listed. I managed to walk in without a reservation and got a table straight away. The restaurant is very close to Hyde Park, with a beautiful interior and a lovely atmosphere. Service was excellent — attentive and timely, and every member of staff was genuinely friendly. They also provide an iPad with photos of the dishes when ordering, which I thought was a really nice touch. For starters, the Laksa Dumpling Soup was slightly sour and spicy, very appetising. The Turmeric Chili Scallop had a lovely citrusy and fruity flavour that tasted really fresh. For the main, I highly recommend the Grouper Fish, it was incredibly tender and fresh, cooked perfectly with absolutely no fishy taste. Definitely the highlight of the meal. Dessert was also delicious. The service charge is 13.5%, and we paid £207 for two people. Overall, a great experience with excellent food, service and atmosphere. Perfect for a date night or dinner with friends. Would definitely recommend and come back!
