The Leddie

Everything about our stay was just fabulous. My Mum has limited mobility so we spent the majority of our time in or around the hotel , which only helped me appreciate even more every part of the hotel and the very special atmosphere that the Leddie has . You have created such a tasteful aesthetic, and we loved the mixture of modern and traditional art throughout the hotel . It really created an impression on arrival . The bedrooms were so tastefully and thoughtfully presented. The personal note and the shortbread was a special touch . The L’Occitane products and the coffee machine added that little bit of added luxury . Every detail had been thought through and made the rooms somewhere that were perfect to relax in . Breakfast was a fantastic treat ! I loved that the whole menu was table service and across the three mornings we managed to sample almost all of the menu between us ! The food was delicious. Just to be sure ,we also had the lunch menu , and brought the rest of the family along . Again the food at lunch was consistently excellent. Thank you . It may seem strange to mention the background music but I really want to ! Spending as much time as we did at the hotel , it is the sort of thing that you notice . Over our stay I thought I would start to hear songs on loop but I didn’t and really loved how it fitted in with the rest of the atmosphere of the hotel. Wonderful as everything was at the hotel one aspect stood out , even above all the others . The staff at the Leddie are its biggest asset and best advertisement. Every single member of staff was superb. Each was throughtful , caring , attentive , friendly and genuinely lifted the whole experience to an even higher level. They noticed small details , they anticipated what we might need or want and unintrusively took care of it . Please pass on our thanks to all your colleagues .
