The Ship Inn

Very nice place for a date with my partner. Food was INCREDIBLE. Its a bit more on the expensive side like I was £18 for macaroni and that's just the mac and cheese no sides with it but it was such a good quality and taste very cheffed not pre frozen so fresh i wasnt mad at it. My Mrs was 21 quid for large haddock and chips but they were big chunky chips fried to perfection. The fish batter was lovely and none of it was greasy. The crushed peas were good could've been more there was lile 1 tablespoon in a ramakin but it adds to the expensive cheffy food vibe like its giving masterchef. Lovely wee pub too with great views and a lovely atmosphere. The staff were all fantastic so warm and friendly. Chatting away to us which we love we invite a good chat. The dessert menu looked amazing but sadly we will have to go back for one as we had to rush off to another appointment.
