An absolute gem!
Everything about our stay at The Jolly Sportsman, from check-in to check-out, was perfect. I genuinely couldn’t fault a thing! Every member of staff was so lovely and welcoming, the food was incredible, and the atmosphere was wonderfully tranquil.
It was our first visit, but it certainly won’t be our last. The surrounding area is beautiful, and our room was thoughtfully designed with lots of lovely touches and helpful information. The bed was so comfortable that as soon as our heads hit the pillows, we were asleep!
The dining experience was also outstanding. The seating areas are charming, our servers were friendly and attentive, and both the food and wine were delightful. The breakfast was up there as one of our best, again a really cosy seating area, the food was clearly fresh, locally-sourced and every effort had been put in to ensure the customer experience was second-to-none! We cannot thank every one at the Jolly Sportsman enough for such a lovely time! If you’re thinking of visiting then let this be the sign, you’d be missing out if you don’t!
