Hotel Portmeirion restaurant reviews

Average rating: 4.6
We had afternoon tea here as we were curious about visiting Portmeirion for the first time, but found the £20 entry fee a bit steep, but if you book afternoon tea at the hotel you can visit the village for free.
The afternoon tea was delicious. Lots of unusual teas to choose from, and catered to my nut allergy excellently. So much food, all delicious and the sweet treats of patisserie standard! We were on a break for our anniversary and even got a little anniversary surprise which was lovely of them.
The only things we noted were my partner's coffee wasn't great, and despite the lovely dining room and the great view, it was lacking a bit of ambiance and some background music certainly would've helped.
We had a lovely visit though and would recommend as a great way to visit Portmeirion
