Latest review:

What a treat this place was! I had no idea it was a new restaurant, open only 8 weeks, It seem very established in its settings. The design and look of this intimate place is very stylish and sympathetic to its placing in an ancient building on Conwy High Street. The nondescript entrance makes it feel slightly secretive, as if you are on the inside track of the story here. Once up the stairs and into the restaurant you're greeted by the friendly and accommodating staff. The lay out of the restaurant is very simple and allows room for medium sized parties but would be perfect for a date night or small party. The menu is considered and chosen very well, sourcing all local produce where possible, the drinks list is varied and the staff are able to accommodate and guide you with complimentary choices to help you have the best meal possible. The food, is, incredible!! Nick Rudge and his team, use quality ingredients and serve the most brilliant flavour combinations. We had the mussels starter and home baked bread to share, followed by the deer with side vegetables. Every bite was fantastic, and with no pressure from the restaurant to turn tables, we could take our time and savour. I could not recommend this place and its food highly enough. I will without doubt be bringing people back here, and will trying the rest of the menu and maybe one of the locally made gins!
